Tiger 3 Box Office Collection Day 17: It has been 17 days since the release of Salman Khan starrer ‘Tiger 3’ and the film may soon cross the Rs 500 crore mark. Looking at the box office collection of the film on the first and second days, it was expected that the film could break the records of many films. But as the days passed, the pace of the film started slowing down.
Now on the 17th day, the film has collected only Rs 2.25 crore. But if we talk about the worldwide box office, Tiger 3 has broken the record of ‘Brahmastra’. Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor’s film did a worldwide business of Rs 431 crore and Salman’s film has crossed the figure of Rs 450 crore in 17 days.
Let us tell you that Tiger 3 was released on 12th November, the day of Diwali. In just two days this film had done a business of about Rs 100 crore. In 17 days, the film has done business of around Rs 276 crore in India. According to industry tracker Sacknilk, the film has done a business of Rs 2.5 crore on the 17th day.
The film had the highest collection on the second day. Crowds of fans reached the theatre and the film was successful in doing business of Rs 59.25 crore. On the third day, the film again did a business of Rs 44.3 crores and after this, the business started declining.
Tiger 3 collected Rs 21.1 crore on the fourth day, Rs 18.5 crore on the fifth day and the film collected Rs 187.65 crore in the first week. On the sixth day, the film has done a business of Rs 13.25 crore, on the seventh day Rs 18.5 crore, on the eighth day Rs 10.5 crore, on the ninth day Rs 7.35 crore, on the 10th day Rs 6.7 crore, on the 11th day Rs 5.75 crores and on the 12th day the film has done a business of Rs 4.70 crores. Now the pace of Salman Khan’s film has slowed down.
YRF had announced on Monday that tickets for ‘Tiger 3’ will be sold at Rs 150 on weekdays till November 30, which were being sold at blockbuster rates till now. Despite this, the film is not doing well at the domestic box office.
